Fire Station 28 - District Shop
Station 28, Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue’s department shop, operates out of the city shops on Parrott Way. The station is staffed by two mechanics who maintain the department’s vehicles.
The shop maintains our 31 vehicle fleet. This includes regular manufacturer recommended service on the vehicles, diagnostics, repairs, and pump maintenance. They also service all of the generators, saws, hydraulic tools, compressors, and generators in the district.
The shop also does work for outside fire agencies through executed contracts for vehicle maintenance and repairs. The 2019 hourly rate for regular maintenance and repair is $100 in addition to parts. Emergency rates vary based on the situation. If your agency would like to contract with us for services, please call (360) 578-5218.
