Services & Divisions
On July 1, 2001, Cowlitz 2 Fire
and Rescue began a journey that has provided an opportunity for the organization
to evaluate the manner in which we function, and to determine a course for our
future. We have worked to put the past behind us and focus on our preferred
future, with an emphasis on the foundation by which our success will be
achieved. We have developed strength in our midlevel managers, and we have
focused on our personnel as a primary resource to develop and adopt
Long Range
Goals and Objectives.
Our
Organizational Action
Plan (OAP) is consistent with the Long Range Planning Process. The basis for
development utilizes the National Incident Management System (NIMS) as the tool
to organize the activities and provide a common structure to ensure completion
of the organization’s mission objectives.
This
Organizational Action Plan
is developed to provide focus on five (5) primary areas; they are:
·
Administration
·
Operations
·
Planning
·
Logistics
·
Finance
Each of these areas will
contain sub categories and all activities will relate directly to the Long Range
Plan. The OAP will be the basis by which we measure the overall success of the
organization and maintain an ongoing planning process.
Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue
provides emergency medical services (EMS) in addition to
fire protection.
Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue is dedicated to keeping the public informed and up
to date on fire prevention & other safety practices and programs. Our
