EMS - Emergency Medical Services

Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue provides emergency medical services in addition to fire protection. Our career personnel use two full time advanced life support ambulances and have two back-up ambulances available at all times. We are a verified trauma service with the Washington State Department of Health. Citizens within the District should be reassured that the Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue personnel responding when they call 911, are some of the most experienced and well trained pre-hospital providers in this area. Click here to find out what the requirements are for paramedics, EMTs and first responders at Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue.
