Communications

For years people within the fire service, regardless of rank or title, have complained that communications from top to bottom and bottom to top are ineffective at best. Our organization was no exception. In an effort to improve upon this deficiency, Chief Dave LaFave has instituted a variety of regularly scheduled meetings aimed at improving this critical area. It is the Planning Section’s responsibility to see that these meetings are planned, published, communicated, and coordinated. Listed below are some of the meetings:

Command & General Staff Pre-meeting - Twice a month

Volunteer All Call - Quarterly

Career All Call - Semi-Annual

EMS and Training Specialist - Once a month
